Monday, May 22 through Monday, May 29, 2023
Sidewalk, curb ramp and underground electrical work
· Sidewalk and pedestrian curb ramp replacement is underway between Sylvania Blvd and SW 58 Ave
· Underground electrical work is being performed for traffic signals at various intersections along SW 8 St including:
· Genoa St, SW 51 Ct and SW 51 Ave
· Installation of signage bases and signs along SW 8 St is currently underway
Lane Closures
· Temporary lane closures along SW 8 St can occur during non-peak hours on non-event days, nights and weekends from:
· 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekdays
· 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday
· 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., Friday and Saturday
· 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
· There will be no work activities or temporary lane closures from Saturday, May 27 through Monday, May 29, in observance of Memorial Day.
· Regular construction activities will resume on Tuesday, May 30.
· Access to and from adjacent neighborhoods and businesses is being maintained during construction
· Temporary sidewalk detours are in place when necessary
PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING THROUGH CONSTRUCTION ZONES, AND NOTE THAT THIS SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE DUE TO BAD WEATHER OR OTHER UNEXPECTED CONDITIONS.
