The Senior Discount Program offers our seniors an 18% discount on their annual garbage fee. To qualify for the discount, you must be 65 or older and the address listed on your photo ID must match the Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser's Office. You must reside at the address and the property must be homesteaded.

Garbage bills are issued on October 1st.

• The City provides 5 cubic yards of FREE bulk pick up three times a year. This does not apply to furniture and is only meant for yard debris.
• After your three free annual collections of yard debris, there is a $14 fee per cubic yard thereafter. Your free collections must remain within the 5 cubic yard limit and cannot be combined with extra debris.
• For large items such as furniture, there is a fee of $40 per item. 
• Bulk pick up is collected on the same day as your regularly scheduled trash pickup for an additional fee. All bulk pickup items should be placed outside on the swale the day BEFORE your regularly scheduled pickup.

Waste is collected Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The City provides trash services on all holidays with the exception of Christmas Day. Please refer to the schedule below to see what days your trash will be collected.

To report illegal dumping, please contact the Public Services Department. If it is after working hours, please contact the Police Department.

The residential recycling fee is $48 per year and is to be paid in your annual garbage bill. For any questions, please refer to Miami-Dade County's recycling information.

You are able to purchase replacement bins from the City for $100. You may purchase up to two bins. To report stolen waste bins, please contact the Public Services Department or the Police Department if it is after working hours.
