Community Center
Established in 1984, the City of West Miami Community Center program started with 50 participants from within the city of West Miami and has continuously grown to this date. Currently there are approximately 205 participants from the unincorporated areas in Miami Dade County and the City of Miami.
The West Miami Community Center provides a place where senior citizens can meet to pursue mutual interest, participate in social and recreational activities that will enhance their dignity, support their independence and encourage their continued involvement in and with the community.
The Community Center is proud to partner with local agencies dedicated to supporting and enriching the lives of our senior residents. Through these partnerships, we are able to connect seniors with valuable resources, programs, and services designed to promote health, wellness, and overall well-being.
